Tacker Brothers, LLC
Based out of southeast Texas since 2007, Tacker Brothers, LLC services the industrial and commercial new construction market across the entire state. With completed projects in El Paso, Beaumont, Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio, we are experienced in delivering an on budget and on schedule project. Our firm provides the service of managing the construction process every step of the way. We work with clients to conceptualize, budget, plan and construct commercial/industrial projects of varied type and size. We provide consultation during planning and on site oversight of operations during construction.
Our company is a family owned business that believes in the value of the relationships we have with our clients, vendors and team members. It is our purpose to ensure that our client’s best interest is served by managing their construction project to be efficient, cost conscious and completed to exact design specifications. Most Tacker projects begin with conceptual design. At the conceptual design phase, we provide a budget and preliminary design documents. As the project progresses, we enlist the services of licensed architects and engineers to complete the design. During construction, we utilize our network of subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate actual construction under the supervision of our staff supervisors and project managers. Our involvement expedites the schedule, ensuring the project is being performed as economically as possible through detailed design, communication and competitive bidding.
Tacker Brothers team is led by owner Trent Tacker. Trent’s construction experience began in 1994 as a laborer and evolved to a superintendent position in 1999 at the age of 25. After 5 years of field management experience he then moved over to the administrative side to begin project managing and eventually took a role as general manager. In 2007 Trent formed Tacker Brothers, LLC., primarily as a construction drafting and detailing entity. In 2012, Tacker Brothers began offering full time general contracting services. Trent is involved in the day to day operations of Tacker Brothers as the primary point of contact for clients as well as managing the activities and vision of the team.
Trent has three daughters and a son who he raises in Magnolia, Texas with his wife of 20 years Michelle. Some of Trent’s favorite hobbies include hunting, cycling and traveling with his family.
Michelle has been a part of the Tacker team from the beginning. Michelle’s education and background are in education and her heart is in taking care of her family. What started as her husband and children has grown to taking care of the entire Tacker Bros. family. Michelle is the human resources manager and special event coordinator.
Michelle is passionate about service and enjoys serving as a teacher for the 5th and 6th grade youth at the Tacker’s home church as well as leading in ladies church events. Michelle spends her time away from work and church caring for and raising the Tacker’s 4 children with Trent.
Jana joined Tacker Bros LLC in January 2021 bringing with her over 20 years of experience as an Office Manager / Bookkeeper, previously working in the oil and gas industry. Jana handles all aspects of accounting along with the day-to-day administrative duties of the office.
She has been married to her husband, Darrell, for 21 years and has one daughter who is in her freshman year of college and is a barrel racer on the College Rodeo team. She enjoys motorcycle riding with her husband, she is on a bowling league and of course enjoys watching her daughter rodeo.
Darel joined the Tacker team in late 2021. Darel is the lead drafter and has over 30 years of experience in the drafting field.
Darel and his wife of 46 years, Sharron, raise their 17-year-old grandson and take care of 19 chickens, 3 dogs, and 6 cats. With so many chickens, Darel’s grandson has started selling eggs to the teachers at the local school. Darel enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling to Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife to visit their son, who is a Pastor, his wife and their two grandsons.
Lindsey joined the Tacker team in September 2021 as Project Coordinator. She is responsible for overseeing the bidding process, facilitating communication with clients, and handling administrative tasks for the project manager and team members to keep projects running smoothly. Originally from Austin, Lindsey moved to Huntsville, TX where she graduated from Sam Houston State University with her bachelor’s degree in Public Health. In addition to getting her degree, she also played on the SHSU Softball team. In her free time, she enjoys game nights with friends and family, attending sporting events, and leading a young adults life group with her husband, Trey.
Mahmoud is a construction engineer with a 15-year record of accomplishments executing and overseeing mega ground-up commercial, residential, and heavy civil road-way construction projects, both in the U.S. and overseas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture engineering, construction technology and project management, and is also certified as a professional project manager (PMP).
Mahmoud is married with two sons and is passionate about acquiring new knowledge and certificates related to construction. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar, playing tennis, and spending time with his family.
Shawn started working at Tacker Brothers in August of 2020 as a site superintendent. Prior to joining the team, he was erecting metal buildings and has 6 years of experience in the construction industry. Shawn enjoys taking in a professional sporting event and spending time outdoors on the water.
Tony Gonzalez joined Tacker Brothers in April 2021. He is currently serving as a site superintendent and has completed multiple commercial projects for Tacker Brothers. Tony retired from the U.S. Army in 2019 where he served as a Flight Paramedic and held numerous leadership roles.
Tony enjoys spending time with his children and wife Caroline. His hobbies include hunting, lifting weights and watching movies.
